Established in 1992, Collector’s World (CW) was founded as a neighborhood Sports Cards, Memorabilia, Comics and Gaming shop in the Washington, D.C., suburb Annandale, Virginia. CW prides itself on being a “collector hideaway¬¬”—boasting a great family-oriented environment and providing a place where adults and children in the community have gathered for more than two decades.
In 2013, Collector’s World decided to expand with the objective of growth by means of expanding our online presence. Large buyouts of two similar stores’ inventory resulted in a massive boost to our collection and proved to be the final push to get the ball rolling. Our initial online marketplace was created when we opened an eBay storefront. This enterprise has grown steadily and we currently process upward of 1,000 transactions a month.
We are pleased to announce our newest venture, “CW Auctions”, an online auction site where customers will have the opportunity to buy and sell collectibles on consignment. In keeping with our impressive and trustworthy track record, expertise and professionalism, we aim to provide excellent service our valued collector community. Please visit us regularly at www.cworldauctions.com to view our bi-weekly auctions of collectibles and other great items. CW Auction will continually focus on a 50/50 mix of sports and comics!

His nickname in the shop is the “The Human Beckett” because of his uncanny ability to identify rare inserts, hard to find autographs and key comic issues in record-breaking time. Guzman is a subject matter expert in the collectible industry—overseeing hundreds of package shipments on a weekly basis and boasting a 95% “on –time” rating. Originally from Texas, Guzman refuses to miss a single Longhorns game.
